Winning Her Heart Again

Chapter 33: Chasing

Chapter 33: Chasing

After that encounter, Stacy became rude to everyone if they made a mistake. She's also watching me, but I don't care. Sometimes, I couldn't help but argue with her because of the way she ordered my people.

But I kept on apologizing to them and advising them to have more patience because as soon as we finished here, they didn't have to work with her anymore. As compensation, I always treat them with their lunch, which Stacy seldom does. I was roaming around when someone was walking at my back. When I turned, it was Travis. He's following me. I have no time to argue with him right now.

"Where are you going?" He asked, but I didn't dare look at him. I just continue walking without making a noise.

"When will you talk to me properly?" he asked again, but instead of stopping, I kept on walking because my blood boiled when I saw his face. And I hated him following me around like a dog.

"Can't you just leave me?" I said in an irritated voice, but he didn't stop following me. I stopped and turned around to face him. He looked surprised, and my eyes widened when I realized that we were too close to each other. I distanced myself and looked at him in a mad face.

"What do you want?" I said in an irritated voice, but he just stared at me and made me \frown even more. I turned around, but he caught my wrist. I angrily grabbed my hand back.

"Can you talk to me a little bit calmer? You get angry every time I try to talk to you," he said, and I sarcastically chuckled.

Who would not? Your ex-husband wants to talk to you like he didn't hurt you in the past! Did he already forget what he did to me? Is he merciless enough to just forget and act like nothing happened?!

Oh common! I never wish to talk to him or even meet him. I don't have the mood to speak to him. He's just making me mad at him even more.

"Can you just tell me what you want to say? I have no time for nonsense things. Just spill the tea," I said, Crossing my arm in front of him while waiting for him to talk.

"Look, I just want to ask if you have eaten our lunch," he said. I sigh and turn around. I just told him that I have no time for nonsense, and besides, it's not his duty to always ask me if I have eaten or not.

"I'm busy, Travis. Could you please stop bugging me around?" I said in an irritated voice. He kept on following me. I went through the stock room and checked for the materials in there. He still followed me, and I'm getting mad now.

"common, I just want to talk to you", he said, and I was like, why do you keep on telling those bullshit words when you already know my answer!

I wanted to hit him now using this inventory paper in my hand, but I knew that would be unprofessional of me. I smiled at him and relaxed.

"Sir, I don't want to cause trouble. Please, if you do not mind. I have to work, and when you are concerned that your worker hasn't eaten, then I'm telling you now that you don't have to ask for those things because we are good. We are eating breakfast, lunch, and dinner if that's what you mean, sir," I told him straight to the point.

I want him to stop disturbing me. He's getting on my nerves. He had never been this annoying before. I hope that my words will literally stop him.

When I was about to get out of the storage room, it was suddenly closed. I rushed to open it but I couldn't.

"Damn it!" He cursed and went to lift up the closing door of this storage room, but he couldn't. It seems like it was locked outside.

"I told you to Stop following me! Look what happened!" I exclaimed to him and he was surprised because of what I did.

Whenever he's around, I always feel something bad will happen, and now it really happened. I thought sarcastically. I just realized now that it is he who brought misfortune into my life.

"It's not my fault," he defended

Qu

himself, and laughed sarcastically. Yes, it is! All the stupid things that happened to my life were all his fault! And I hated it seeing him act like nothing happened between the two of us! I hate him!

I couldn't stop feeling annoyed in his presence, and that's why I always avoided him!

"Yes, it's your fault! Everything was your fault! It's your fault why we were locked here now!" I shouted at him. He walked closer to me to hold me by my hand, but I stepped backwards.

He still has the guts to touch me. I glared at him to stop him from getting closer to me, and it worked.

"I'm sorry," his voice was so serious when he said that. I looked into his eyes, and he was sincere. But he won't get me by those actions.NôvelDrama.Org owns this text.

"I don't need your sorry. You know

what? It is better if we acted like we didn't know each other," I uttered.

was surprised because of what t

said, but that's what I need. I need him to leave me alone. I need him to stop talking to me and stop minding me.

"Jasmine," I push him when he gets nearer to me. I close my hand tightly as I glare at him. What does he really need from me?

"Do you think you're sorry enough for me to forget everything?" My voice cracked, but I managed to hold myself back. I calmed myself and looked at him.

"Mr. White, please be professional, we are at work." I smiled a bit and walked through the door.

I kept hitting it with my own hands, but I think no one could hear us from here because we were far from the design area.

I looked at my phone to call Rhian, but there was no signal. I began to get frustrated, not because I was locked in here but because I was with him.

"I know you're mad," he said at my back. That's pretty obvious. What does he think I will feel? Delighted that he had hurt me before. He's out of his mind. He should stop doing this. I want a peaceful life now.

I was about to look at him, but I stopped when he suddenly held me onto my waist. What the heck is he doing?! My eyes widened.

"Travis!" I angrily said as I pushed

him hard. I'm honestly disappointed with him. He ruined our relationship before. But why he's here, chasing me like a crazy dog? He's really out of his mind. He messed up his hair. He wanted to say something, but he couldn't muster the courage to say a word.
