When They Beg, I Rise!

Chapter 247

Lemira heard noises outside but all she could see was darkness. Orion's jacket draped over her, shielding her from everything outside.

But now, she felt a lot safer, at least she was out of immediate danger.

Orion, looking down at the two bodyguards lying on the ground, his lips pressed into a thin line, "Since they refuse to talk, make sure they never speak again."

The bodyguards turned pale at the sight of Orion carrying the girl.

Who would have thought this girl would be saved by the power heir of Orvin! Wasn't this girl an orphan with no parents?

Orion carried Lemira into the elevator; she nestled in his arms, her head covered with his suit jacket, unable to see anything outside.

Her mind was a complete mess. Her hands clung tightly to his collar, knuckles white with tension.

Orion took his private elevator down.

Susanna just happened to run up the stairs from the other side, catching a glimpse of Orion entering the elevator, with a girl in his arms. Even though her body was almost entirely covered by the jacket, it was clearly a woman! Susanna hid to the side, startled. She had been waiting for the bodyguards to come down and, growing impatient, had decided to check things out herself.

To her surprise, she saw Orion! What was going on? Did Orion have another woman on the side? And where had that little tramp Lemira gone?

Just as Susanna was about to step out, some bodyguards blocked her way.

"Do you know who I am? You dare block my way!" she spat, staring at the bodyguards.

She had clearly seen Orion with another woman, a situation she needed to clarify and then report to her sister. She couldn't let some outsider take advantage of the situation.

But the bodyguards stood firmly in front of Susanna, not letting her take a step closer. Susanna stomped her foot in frustration, "Damn it, let me through!"This is property © NôvelDrama.Org.

Evelina approached, "Ms. Sinclair, what's the matter?"

"These people dare to block me! My sister is the fiancée of the Everhart heir. If my brother-in-law finds out you're holding me back like this, he won't let you off the hook!"

As Evelina heard the mention of the Everhart heir, her eyes lit up, "You mean the power heir of Orvin was in that private room?"

The power heir of Orvin was from the top clan of Orvin, with wealth beyond measure. If only she could get a chance.

Susanna replied in frustration, "Yes,

my brother-in-law always prefers privacy clearing out any unwanted presence wherever he goes. I have no idea where that tramp Lemira has hidden herself."

"Ms. Sinclair, Lemira must be hiding somewhere quietly. Once the power heir leaves, we'll surely find her!"

"Hmph, this time I'll ruin her, making her dare not cross me again."

Evelina was pleased with Susanna's words. Catching Lemira and getting those videos would give her leverage over Lemira forever.

She wouldn't dare defy Evelina then, always under her control. Evelina couldn't wait for that day.

In a private room at the end of the corridor.

Thaddeus wiped the blood off his hands, speaking calmly, "You guys have some nerve."

Messing with the girl Orion cherished above all.

"Mr. Draven, we're from the Sinclair family, just following Ms. Sinclair's orders to catch that girl."

"Tsk, the Sinclair family counts for nothing!"

Thaddeus had heard about Susanna

and her clique's antics at school;

they had caused some serious problems before, but it got

smoothed over by the Sinclairs in the end.
