Chapter 98 Dine with President
Chapter 98 Dine with President
Meanwhile, Maxwell, who was cleaning the windows and doing other household chores in the villa,
suddenly sneezed several times.
"Shit, who misses me?" Maxwell muttered.
"Mr. Kirk, are you busy?" Behind him came a soft sound.
Maxwell looked around and saw Leila approaching. Leila looked much better after a period of time of
recuperation.
"Yes, I have to clean the floor when I finish cleaning the windows." Maxwell rubbed the glass carefully.
Leila looks at Maxwell with interest. "Mr. Kirk always gives me an extraordinary feeling, but does
ordinary things."
When Leila recovered, the first thing she did was to test Maxwell.
During the time of recuperation, she recalled the time when she was unconscious and vaguely heard
Maxwell talking to someone else as he treated her wounds.
She couldn't remember who the other person was, or what he had said to Maxwell, but she was certain
there was another man there, and that he had told her and Greta there was only him when he arrived.
Maxwell lied, and Leila had a hunch that Maxwell was lying because he wanted to hide something.
Leila thought that maybe she could use this opportunity to expose Maxwell's true intention and let
Greta realize that the man around her was so disgusting.
"Mr. Kirk, were you alone when I was injured and unconscious?" Leila asked.
"Yes, the others were dead. Didn't you hear what the police said? There were only my footprints, and
the monitor could show that there was only me," replied Maxwell.
"Really?" Leila raised her eyebrows. "But judging from my wound treatment, it doesn't look like they
were left by one person?"
Leila's eyes were fixed on Maxwell, hoping to see something in his eyes.
Leila could tell whether Maxwell was lying as long as he was panicked.
Unfortunately, Maxwell's eyes were calm, as if Leila were talking about someone else.
Why did it matter to him?
Leila didn't see anything in Maxwell's eyes.
Leila was a bit disappointed. Her test didn't work.
She tried to test Maxwell with lies. But it didn't work either.
Maxwell looked as usual, calm and composed. But he could feel Leila wanted to test him from the
moment she spoke. How could he be fooled by Leila?
The wounds on Leila were treated by him and the young man, who was not as skilled as him, but far
better than many surgical experts.
Leila, of course, couldn't see it. Her speculation didn't draw any secrets out of him.
"My hand probably shook when I was sewing your wounds," Maxwell said lightly.
Leila didn't say anything. She stared at Maxwell for a long time, nods, and whispered, "All right."
Leila, who had received training in the Special Force, could do nothing about Maxwell. She could only
suppress her suspicion and turned to the second floor.
She went back to her bedroom, and contacted a friend who had retired from the army and was now
working for the police.
A short time later, Leila got the surveillance video of the road around the hotel that day.
Leila went through the video from cover to cover and found nothing suspicious.
From the beginning to the end, only Maxwell came to the hotel, took Greta and Leila out, and gave
Leila first aid. It seemed that everything happened as Maxwell said, and it made Leila doubt herself.
Was she mistaken?
Leila didn't know that the surveillance video she was watching had already been covered with another
fake video by the young man, and everything was covered perfectly.
In Sandoval Tower, Greta looked at the entertainment news headlines on the computer screen, and her Text content © NôvelDrama.Org.
red lips lifted with a smile.
Greta picked up the landline, and made a phone call, "Melissa, put off the meeting for the night. I have
something else to do tonight."
"Yes, Ms. Greta." Melissa was stunned. In her mind, Ms. Greta had never put off an important meeting.
It was the first time she did so.
At the same time, Maxwell's cell phone rang. Maxwell looked down and found Greta's message, which
read, 'Come and pick me up tonight'.
Maxwell was overjoyed. This text message was implying that she agreed to go to dinner with him
together!
Maxwell was so excited. It had been four months. And it was the first time his wife had agreed to eat
out with him. Maxwell was thrilled!
If the young guy was here, he would definitely wonder if Maxwell was the legendary man as he had
known. The superpowers would definitely be surprised to see him so excited!
The Dragonlord was so excited at a woman agreeing to dine with him.
Who would have thought that the legendary man who lived a secluded life would give in to a woman?
Maxwell immediately dropped what he was doing and called the young man. "I'm going out to dine with
my wife. What do you suggest I wear?"
"You can wear what you like. Maxwell, you have hooked up with numerous girls. Why ask this?" The
young man answered with disdain.
"That's different. She's my wife. Tell me what to wear!" Maxwell snapped.
"Fine. I'll send it to you. Why so excited, boss?" signed the young man. 'The princess of Europe, the
royal family of Saudi Arabia, and the goddess of wisdom in the dark world. Which one of the titles is not
attractive? But you don't take a fancy to them. Unexpectedly, you are thrilled because Greta agrees to
dine with you."
"I really do not know why you are infatuated with her." The young man sighed.
"She's my wife. She's perfect." Maxwell looked up at a picture of Greta on the counter, and he wore a
happy smile.

Inside the mansion, Charlie looked at the headlines and said gloomily, "It goes too far. Andreas, don't
we fight back?"
"Those two bitches." Alison pounded the table angrily.
"The reputation of the Sandoval family is almost ruined by them!" Cecilia said gloomily.
Andreas was sitting on the sofa, his face was dark and cold, "I have inquired into it. Urban Media was
acquired this morning, and Dous was almost fired. Even if I give benefits to him, he is not at my
disposal now."
"What should we do? How about buying the company back?" asked Alison.
"Impossible, I had borrowed money from the family last time, and I lost them all. Now the family is not
willing to lend us a penny. We can't buy back the company." Charlie shook his head, looking grave.
"We can't just let Greta do whatever she wants to us." Cecilia said with resent.
"Dous the jerk." Andreas let out a loud sound. "Tonight, I'm going to drown him!"
As he spoke, a trace of danger flashed across Andreas's eyes.

The sun was setting, and the sky was cloaked in red sunset. The sky over Ocean City was
tremendously beautiful.
In the evening, at the gate of Sandoval Tower, a beautiful figure walked out early and went to the
square outside Sandoval Tower.
A black Maybach parked on the side of the road. Next to the Maybach, there was a man leaning on the
front of the car, looking at Greta with an air of indifference.
As Greta approached, the man pulled open the door and smiled respectfully. "Ms. Greta, please."
"Pretty punctual," said Greta.
Maxwell grinned. "Ms. Greta, you look gorgeous today. That outfit really suits you."
Greta didn't say anything, but her cold face softened.
At the gate of Sandoval Tower, with many employees looking on, the beautiful CEO sat in the rear of
Maybach.
The door closed, Maxwell got into the driver's seat, and soon the Maybach galloped off into the
distance.
"What are we going to eat?" asked the gorgeous CEO, sitting in the back.
"Hot pot?" Maxwell thought about it. He didn't know what Greta liked to eat, so he asked offhand.
"No, I have had it too many times," Greta refused.
"Western food?" Maxwell asked.
"No."
"Home cooking?"
"No."
"Barbecue?"
Greta finally grew impatient. She put her arms around her chest, and said coldly, "Can you ask me
something I haven't had before? There's no point in asking what I have eaten before."
Maxwell suddenly had an idea, "there's a dish in Ocean City that you've never eaten before, but it's
super popular."
"What it is?" Greta's eyes lit up, and she looked curious.
As the lady from a wealthy family, what delicacies had she never eaten? Especially the western food
and some sort of stuff, she had gotten tired of them. If it was not for the sake of work, she would not eat
any western food.
What Maxwell mentioned had whetted Greta's appetite.
Greta didn't believe that there was something in Ocean City that she had never tasted before.
"You'll see when you get there," Maxwell said mysteriously.
"Well." Greta snorted disdainfully.
At night, Ocean City was shrouded by colorful neon. Many kerbsides were filled with tables and stools,
and the mixed fragrance of many delicacies filled the air, making the night very lively.
This kind of food stall, which was very popular with the common people, was usually scorned by high-
ranking people.
The streets bustled with traffic, and Maxwell drove his Maybach carefully through the crowds.
As soon as Maybach arrived, it attracted a lot of attention.
Seldom did a luxury car come to the food stalls, let alone a Maybach.
"What is this place?" Greta asked curiously.
"You will see it when you get there," he said with a smile. "I know you haven't been here."
Greta looked out of the window with curiosity. She thought she knew Ocean City very well, but she had
never thought that there was such a place in Ocean City.
The Maybach inched forward and finally pulled to a stop on the side of the road.
"Here we are."
Maxwell got out of the car and pulled open the door. A pair of slender, fair legs stepped out of the car.
Greta stood on the road, looking curiously at everything around her, like a child exploring a new world.
"Come on, Ms. Greta." Maxwell reached out and suddenly took Greta's hand.
