Who would've thought that not only had those women kept the videos, but they'd even sent them to Samantha?!Content is © 2024 NôvelDrama.Org.

Noah desperately tried to clear his name. "Sam, those videos could have been staged by someone trying to set me up, to drive a wedge between us. Think about it. Didn't you see that video circulating recently, the one trying to clear Sylvan Porter's name? The man in that video wasn't actually Sylvan but a look-alike hired by some blogger to defend him. So, clearly, the videos you saw of me with other women are fake, too. From the start, I've been faithful to only you."

What a load of garbage! Samantha couldn't believe he could say such things with a straight face. Samantha looked at him with utter disdain. "Noah, maybe one video could be fake. Two videos, perhaps. But three or four? Come on. And I'm certain it was you because your face was captured perfectly clearly."

Noah didn't respond right away. He took a moment, searching for a good excuse, and then finally said, "Sam, I'm a man-a normal man. I was abroad for a long time. Of course, I needed... companionship. But those women meant nothing to me. They were just flings. From now on, my heart belongs only to you. I love you, Sam. I really, truly love you. So please, stop hurting me, okay?"

Are you actually expecting me to believe your bluffs? Samantha rolled her eyes at him and lay back on the hospital bed. "I'm tired. I don't want to talk to you anymore. Just leave."

But Noah wasn't about to leave so easily, not without saying what he had really come for. He suddenly grabbed her hand, holding it tightly as he confessed with all the sincerity he could muster. "Sam, I like you. I really, really like you. Even if you don't like me, I still like you. I know I've done a lot to hurt you in the past, but I swear, from now on, my body and heart will be only for you. So, please leave Finley and be with me."

Samantha could hardly believe what she was hearing. What has gotten into this guy today that he's saying such revolting things?

She pulled her hand away from his grip. "Noah, can you stop being so revolting?"

Samantha could barely keep up the act any longer. She was about to snap, but Noah, still oblivious, continued with his overly dramatic confession. "How am I being revolting? This is just me showing you how much I love you!"

"Get out."

Noah's voice turned pitiful. "If you really want me to leave, I'll go. But before I do, can you promise to help me with something?"

Samantha's silence said it all. No matter what Noah said, she wasn't going to help him. But Noah, unwilling to give up, pressed on. "Sam, Finley forcibly took over my company. When my grandfather found out, he got so upset he had to be hospitalized. Now, all my accounts are frozen, and I can't even afford his medical bills. So..."
