Chapter 12
Chapter 12 Queen Asalea's Past
|
Dreckos was so surprised to know some hidden truths about the true identity of their Queen Lea. Their Queen's full name is Asalea. She is the only heir to the throne of the Knostican Kingdom, which no longer exists right now. The said Kingdom, two years ago has been attacked by the Ecleteon Werewolves and no Knostikan Vampires survived except for the only daughter of the King and Queen who happened to have the ability to disappear. She was able to escape and no news about her since then has been heard. The name of the Knostican Princess is ASALEA.
As Dreckos relayed such fact that he gathered about Queen Lea, King Timodore was stunned. He could not believe that he, King Timodore was able to be fooled by a woman. He is sure that Princess Asalea and his wife Queen Lea are the same. It will never be a coincidence that the Princess of Knostican can make herself invisible, the same thing that his wife could do. King Timodore could not fully understand why she needs to lie to him about her true identity.
"She fooled me Dreckos; but why did she do that?" Pains in King Timodore's expression could not be hidden from the eyes of Dreckos.
Dreckos looked at his King with compassion. "My King, I don't want to say this, but I can only see one reason why she did it. She came here intentionally to get your attention and be the chosen one to be your wife. I hope, I am wrong but I guess, if she will marry the King of Glodeous Vampires, it will be easy for her thereafter to take her revenge against the Ecleteon's Werewolves."
King Timodore's expression became more exhausted. His thoughts run similar to that of Dreckos. His jaw tightened and his teeth gritted. How could this Princess Asalea, made a fool out of him! She just used him!
On the other side, King Timodore felt so sorry for what happened to her parents. It must have been her greatest trauma. He is not surprised now why she outrageously stabbed into pieces the heart of King Burkano. Her anger toward the Ecleteon Werewolves is too deep and strong.
"What are we going to do now my King? She is already your wife and the crowned Queen of the Glodeous Kingdom." Dreckos asked with confusion. King Timodore shook his head. "I want this matter to be confidential first. This is between me and the Queen. I felt so fooled by her now. No one should dare fool me; you know what will happen to anyone who will do that to me!"
Dreckos lowered his head. He does not want to show to her King the pity that he is feeling right now for the Queen. He knows what will be happening to her in the coming days.Property of Nô)(velDr(a)ma.Org.

Queen Asalea's heart suddenly tumbled as he saw her husband coming nearer to her in their bed. His ocean-deep blue eyes that once captured her heart to like and then love him is now like fire, darting her with a dagger look.
"My King, is there something wrong? Any problem?"Asalea asked confused.
"Nothing. I was just being fooled by someone and I cannot contain my anger now." King Timodore replied without leaving his sharp look on Queen Asalea's eyes.
Asalea feels mortified upon seeing her husband's anger. His look could kill a thousand vampires and werewolves.
She tried to smile sweetly. "Can I, can I do something to ease your anger, my husband." She even stammered.
"If someone made a fool out of you my wife, what will you do?" King Timodore's voice is calculating and his eyes are keenly observing her.
Queen Asalea temporarily was at a loss of words. She cleared her throat and spoke thereafter. "I rather know the truth first why, why he or she fooled me and if indeed that was intentional. I will further determine if his or her act of fooling me has been done continuously without any change of heart.” She looked so gloomily to her husband. She does not want to think that his question was really intended for her.
"What if that person continuously did fool you? What will you do?" King Timodore asked again.
"I, I don't know yet. Maybe it depends who that person is in my life." Queen Asalea's heart now is beating fast.
"We are different then, my dear wife. Once someone fooled me; I will never consider my relationship to that fool in deciding what repercussion I will throw at her!"
Queen Asalea's heart beats faster as she heard King Timodore's last words before he left their room without even excusing himself from her.
As King Timodore saw Dreckos at the palace's corridor, he called him and said, "Dreckos, find another woman for me!"
