Flora’s Guide to a Second Chance at Love and Life

Chapter 1245

She had a knack for everything. There wasn't a challenge she couldn't handle. When the competition was announced, the whole training ground was buzzing with excitement. Training was tossed aside as everyone gathered to see the show. "Ma'am, do you know how to shoot? Need a quick lesson?" Shadow asked, a bit concerned.

Flora shot him a look like he was missing a few screws, took the rifle, and spun it with flair. Clearly, she was no amateur. Shadow zipped his lips.

"The rules are easy. Ten-meter air rifle, ten rings total, five shots each. Closest to the bullseye wins."

"You're on." Rory was all in.

"Alright." Flora nodded coolly.

"Ma'am, want to go first?" Rory glanced at Flora.

"You go ahead," Flora replied with zero modesty. "I'm worried if I go first, you might lose your nerve." Rory: "..."

With a huff, he turned away: "Fine, I'll start."

He raised the gun, squinted at the target ten meters out, and fired quickly!

Bang!

Bullseye!

"Ten rings!" Shadow yelled, his voice ringing out!

The crowd went wild with cheers.

Flora stayed calm and collected.

Rory fired again, nailing it!

"Another ten rings!"

The cheers got even louder!

Flora was unfazed.

Rory kept firing, each shot as perfect as the last.

"Ten rings! Again!"

The cheers were deafening!

Flora adjusted her stance to something more comfortable, as cool as a cucumber.

After all five shots, Rory had scored a perfect ten rings each time.

"Your turn, Ma'am." Rory tilted his chin up at Flora, smug and riding high.

"Not bad," Flora said, giving him an honest nod.

He was, after all, one of Connor's men. Second team captain. Pretty impressive.

"Not bad?" Rory pouted, thinking 'pretty impressive' was an understatement.

Flora had been strutting her stuff the whole time, and now Rory was really curious to see her skills in action.

"Connor," Flora called, instead of

jumping right into shooting. She motioned him over and pulled a silk

scarf from her pocket. "Blind

me

Connor did as she asked, his eyes practically glowing with affection.

The crowd exchanged puzzled glances. What was Flora up to?

No way she was planning to shoot blindfolded, right?

"Switch to a moving target," she said.

A still target was just too boring.

Flora spoke again, and everyone caught on.

They could hardly believe it!

Was she really going to shoot at a moving target while blindfolded?

"Ma'am, you..." Shadow was taken aback, the young woman's confidence was almost intimidating.

"Go ahead," Flora commanded sharply.

Sure, she was being a bit showy.

But if she wasn't, how could she get these folks to fully respect her?

She couldn't stand their patronizing looks.

She was being deliberately over-the-top.

-After all, she had the chops to back it up.

Shadow glanced at Connor, who didn't stop her, so he went ahead and switched the target to a moving one.

"Isn't the madam pushing it a bit...This content © Nôv/elDr(a)m/a.Org.

Blindfolded, shooting a moving target? Even our best shooter, Shadow, couldn't pull that off, the crowd whispered among themselves.

"Whatever her skills, just having the guts to try this has my respect! That kind f confidence, it's downrig Canting!"

Soon, the target was moving.

All eyes were glued to the girl in the center.

She was strong, self-assured, dazzling, and utterly mesmerizing.

Like a shining star.

One look and you just couldn't look away.
