Find me in your labyrinth (Stella and Jonathan)

Chapter 25

Chapter 25

He thought Estelle would take the opportunity to lecture him, telling him that good students shouldn’t

fight.

Estelle nodded sincerely, “Of course, you helped a bullied classmate, isn’t that being brave and just?”

Henson’s innocent eyes sparkled for a moment, but then he became disheartened, “But I busted their

heads, and their parents all came. The teacher told me to call my parents to school this afternoon.”

“Your teacher doesn’t know you’re part of the Lamont family?” Estelle asked.

Henson nodded, “There are some people with the surname Lamont in the school, and my file only has Original content from NôvelDrama.Org.

my parents’ names. My parents are very low-key.”

Estelle realized, “So you want me to pretend to be your parent?”

“Smart!” Henson laughed, showing his newly grown teeth.

Estelle also laughed, “No way!”

Henson’s smile froze, “Why not?”

“First, I’m not your parent, and if your uncle finds out, I’ll definitely lose my job!” Estelle said seriously,

“Second, I’m technically your teacher too, so I can’t help you deceive the other teachers.”

“No one will know if you don’t say anything!”

“It’s still not happening.” Estelle was firm and asked curiously, “Why don’t you go to your uncle?”

Henson lowered his eyes, “My uncle promised me that if I didn’t make any mistakes for a week, he

would teach me horse riding on the weekend.”

“But this time, there was a reason for your actions!” Estelle said.

Henson shook his head, “My uncle is very principled; if it’s wrong, it’s wrong, no matter the reason!”

Estelle shrugged, “Well, that’s a problem then!”

Henson’s eyes suddenly lit up, and he said to Estelle, “How much does my uncle pay you for being our

tutor?”

“Eight thousand, why?”

“As long as you help me, I’ll tell my uncle how good you are, and he’ll double your salary, what do you

say?” Estelle took a sip of water and raised her eyebrows, “Are you sure about this?”

“Absolutely!” Henson confirmed.

Estelle was tempted. With eight thousand more, she could make an extra ninety-six thousand a year,

getting her one step closer to buying Villa del Sol.

“But who should I pretend to be, your grandma?” Estelle asked doubtfully. She could try to look older,

but she feared the teacher might become suspicious.

Henson stared at Estelle and pulled out his phone from his backpack, “I’ll call my uncle right now and

tell him you want to be his mom!”

“Ha!”

Estelle spat out her water and rushed to grab some tissues while stopping Henson, “Hold on, or I’ll

change my mind!”

Henson was fearless, “If you back out, I’ll tell my uncle you tried to take advantage of him!”

Estelle made an innocent face, “Then who should I pretend to be? your teachers must have seen your

mom, right?”

Henson immediately said, “I’ve already thought about it, you can pretend to be my aunt!”

Estelle widened her eyes,…

She had to impersonate herself?

The two stared at each other for three seconds before Estelle spoke, “If your uncle finds out, not only

will he not raise my salary, but he might also kick me out!”

“He won’t know!”

“You sure?”

“Absolutely!”

Estelle took a deep breath, thought for five seconds, and then said with a tragic expression, “Alright!”

Henson succeeded and was delighted, “To show my gratitude, I’ll treat you to dinner, you can order

whatever you want.”

Estelle flipped through the menu, suddenly feeling like she was being served a last meal.
