Darling, Please Love Me Again! (Gisele Meyer)

Chapter 93

Chapter 93

“I… It’s true,” Gisele’s words trailed off. Suddenly, Dorian’s hand closed around her throat. ” You’re asking for trouble!”

Dorian’s large hand hovered over Gisele’s delicate neck, ready to inflict pain if she dared to speak another word.

Tears welled up in Gisele’s eyes as she met his gaze. She knew Dorian didn’t love her. After all, he had never made any effort to understand her situation or her family’s struggles.

It was clear that Dorian had little regard for Gisele’s life, emotions, or well–being. As long as she didn’t disrupt Sierra’s peace, her destiny and feelings were inconsequential to him.

As Dorian caught sight of his diminished reflection in Gisele’s dark eyes, he suddenly froze.

Why was he so consumed with anger over Gisele’s actions?

He didn’t love her, so why did it matter who she was involved with? Why did he care at all?

Before long, Dorian found his rationale.

It boiled down to this–Gisele couldn’t afford to tarnish the Jefferson family’s reputation. While she might be willing to endure personal disgrace, jeopardizing the honor of the Jefferson family was a risk too great to take.

As Dorian felt his grip loosen around her neck, Gisele couldn’t help but scoff.

“Dorian, do you still insist on meddling in my life even after our divorce? Even if I wanted to stay, do you honestly think my father would allow it?

“Don’t you know the challenges of dealing with the Meyers? Shouldn’t you be more

informed about them than I am?”

Gisele’s voice dripped with sarcasm and fear, tears shimmering in her eyes as she defiantly locked her gaze with his, her red lips pursed firmly.

Nonetheless, Dorian’s contempt for Gisele mainly stemmed from her ties to the Meyer family, who, despite their modest status, were renowned for their relentless pursuit of

wealth.

Furthermore, both Peter and Gordon lacked experience in business management, yet they consistently harbored excessive ambition and had a penchant for boasting.

Over the past three years, they sought assistance nearly every six months, and each time, it was Gisele who stepped up to help.

So, when Dorian caught sight of Gisele clinging to a pile of worthless trinkets, he couldn’t help but feel a surge of repulsion.

Despite orchestrating deals that could potentially yield millions in profits, all she could offer were a few hundred dollars‘ worth of herbal sachets and tea bags.

“So, are you saying it’s acceptable to seek out another man during our marriage?” Dorian asked as he leaned closer, his voice carrying a hint of accusation.

The herbal aroma emanating from Gisele offered some solace to his troubled heart, but his frustration remained etched on his face, refusing to dissipate.

“It’s merely a marriage of convenience. Who decides what’s right or wrong? You act as you please, so why can’t I?” Gisele countered defiantly.

in this “While I can, you’re not entitled to! Since we’re both pawns in this game, by my rules than anyone else’s!” Dorian snapped in exasperation.

His gaze was fixed on Gisele’s red lips, and without hesitation, he leaned down and softly sank his teeth into them.

The softness of her lips appeased his inner fury considerably. Gradually, his nibbles evolved into gentle kisses as he parted her lips.

The cramped confines of the car were brimming with desire. Dorian roughly stripped away Gisele’s clothing, his eyes fixating on the hickeys scattered across her skin.

“You were the one beside me last night, weren’t you, Gisele? You’re quite the cunning one,” he sneered.

Despite their night of intimacy, Gisele maintained a facade of innocence, pretending as though nothing had transpired.

Gisele parted her lips slightly, seemingly on the verge of explaining herself, but before she could speak, Dorian’s lips descended upon hers once more.

This time, his kisses were different–domineering, tinged with aggression. Even the grip of his hands was noticeably firmer than before.

As Gisele struggled to breathe, Dorian reluctantly released his grip. “Can’t you even catch your breath? With your poor kissing skills, how do you still expect to attract a sugar daddy?” he quipped.

“So, was it Sierra who taught you to kiss so well? Does she even know you’re now engaging in marital activities with me?” Gisele questioned, undaunted by his menacing glare.

Dorian restrained her, feeling her warm breath grazing his face as she spoke. Despite the ticklish sensation, he couldn’t bring himself to release her, preventing her from escaping.

“Dorian, she’s no longer your wife. Do you really want to see her suffer because of this?” Gisele softened her voice, trying to persuade him to release her. Text © by N0ve/lDrama.Org.

Dorian’s gaze wavered briefly, but after a momentary pause, he scoffed, “Are my affairs any concern of yours? Do you honestly believe that saying all of that will excuse you from fulfilling your obligations?”
