Crushed Affections

Chapter 412 Volcanic Eruption

After breakfast, Dominic and Bella returned to Bella's place. Dominic took out his phone and handed it to her. "Take a look. Which property do you like? Let's find a time to transfer the land title." Bella glanced at the screen but didn't reach for it. "You pick. Just go with the cheapest one."

Dominic was trying to keep his patience in check, but with her attitude, he frowned and said in a low voice, "I don't own any cheap properties. If you don't choose, I'll decide for you. We can transfer the title this afternoon if your schedule is free."

Bella still refused to take advantage of him. "You can transfer the land title, but I must pay you. I still haven't finished paying off what I owe you, and I don't want to owe you anymore."

They'd already argued about this before, and Dominic had devised a solution that would work for both of them. "Then let's not transfer the title. After the baby is born, I'll put the house in the baby's name. That way, you can stay there without feeling uncomfortable. You keep your money and spend it on yourself-just don't use it to make things awkward for me."

Bella found this solution acceptable, so they finalized the plan.

The house was a duplex in an upscale neighborhood with a prime location. The single floor was approximately 1900 square feet, which was more than enough for Bella. There would be plenty of space for her, the baby, and a housekeeper.

The house was already furnished, but some additional furniture and appliances were needed. Dominic would ensure that everything was set up over the next few days so she could just move in immediately.

Once everything was settled, Dominic sent her the property details and 3D models on her phone so she could examine them for any issues.

Bella's fingers swiped across the screen, inspecting every detail seriously. Dominic stood next to her, playing the role of the salesman, talking through everything like a professional. But, of course, he was the handsome version. Suddenly, a WhatsApp message popped up at the top of the screen. It was from Sean. It read, "What are you doing?"

Noticing Dominic's face darken

beside her, Bella ignored the message and kept looking at the

house layout. But before she knew it, Dominic snatched her phone away and responded to Sean for her. He recorded a voice note, asking, "Do you need something?"

Sean didn't let it go. He quickly sent another message with a voice note of his own, saying, "Of course I do. Please give her phone back."

Dominic shot Bella a cold and questioning look, his face tight with anger, like he was about to explode.

Bella straightened her back, the slight bulge of her belly more noticeable now, and used it to give herself courage. "What... What's with that look? I haven't done anything..."

He shoved the phone toward her mouth, signaling her to reply with an audio message. Reluctantly, she said, "If you have something to say, just say it."

Sean's tone suddenly turned all sweet and needy. "Bella, let's go out for dinner tonight. I don't want to see anyone else, just you and the baby. Is that okay?"

Dominic thought back to Sean's earlier provocation. After hearing that last message, his temper snapped. He threw the phone to the ground Was Sean basically telling him that the baby wasn't his

Bella's face went pale in shock. "Are you out of your mind? What's wrong with you?"

She couldn't understand how Dominic could flip out like that. All Sean had done was ask her out for dinner, and she hadn't even agreed yet. She found his reaction way too over the top.

Cara stood cautiously between the two angry figures. She picked up the phone and inspected it. "The screen's cracked, but it should still work if we get it fixed..."

That's when Bella realized her
