Chapter 1131
"Friends?" Rosalie said. "Grandma, they..."
"Rose," Theodore cut her off and shot her a look. "They're your friends. You brought them here because you wanted to introduce them to Grandma."
Rosalie realized what was going on and nodded. "Grandma, they're my friends. I brought them here for you to see. I thought it'd be good to make things livelier here with more people."Content is property © NôvelDrama.Org.
"Sure, it's fine since they are your friends," Rebecca said. "I thought they were Theo's friends. I was wondering why Theo made two new female friends and even brought them home. That's not very good."
Rosalie lowered her head and smiled awkwardly. "Grandma, they're my friends. Don't worry."
"That's good. Theo," Rebecca said warningly, "Although they're Rose's friends, you need to keep your distance from them. They are ladies, while you're a married man. You even have a child now. You can't be seen flirting with other women, especially that...that Aurora. Keep your distance from her. There's something wrong with her eyes when she looks at you. Others might think there's something between you two."
Theodore felt immensely guilty and forced a smile as he said, "I know, Grandma."
"And you, Rose," Rebecca reminded. "Although they're your friends, you should still be wary of them. Do you understand?"
"I do, Grandma," Rosalie said.
All she could do to make Grandma happy was agree with the latter. If she told Grandma that Aurora was Theodore's girlfriend and that she had divorced him, Grandma would probably go mad.
Although they were telling her lies, it made Rebecca happy. It was enough that all these seemed true in her world.
Time passed; before they knew it, it was evening and the kitchen was preparing dinner.
Rebecca kept playing with Steve; they had a ball of time together, with Steve cooing, gurgling, and in a good mood.
Aurora and Angie stood far away like outsiders. Each time Aurora saw Rosalie and Theodore leaning in close to each other, she would go mad with jealousy. However, all she could do was suppress her rage.
When she finally saw Theodore come out alone, she hurriedly ran over to him.
"Theo."
Theodore stopped in his tracks and turned to her. "What's the matter?"
"Theo," Aurora said as she approached him and grabbed his hand. "I know Grandma is not well, so I won't get angry. But can I make a tiny request?" "What is it?"
"Can you please don't disregard me? That will make me feel like you've reconciled with Rosalie-like I'm the outsider."
Theodore pulled his hand away.

"Aurora, if you don't feel comfortable with that, can send you back so you won't get upset. Grandma is rarely so alert, and she's my priority right now. She might get upset seeing you around."
Aurora was taken aback by Theodore's words, and hurriedly added, "I don't mean anything by that. Theo, I want to stay here. Please don't chase me away."
If she left, that would be giving Theodore and Rosalie a chance to grow closer. She would never allow that to happen!
The tears welling up in Aurora's eyes made Theodore say, "You can stay for a few days if you don't want to leave, but right now, Grandma thinks that you're Rose's friend. Please don't speak too much and don't get too close to me. Grandma will get upset if she sees that."
"I got it, I won't," Aurora said as she cautiously hooked her pinky with his. "It's enough as long as we know who we are to each other. I'll try my best to keep my distance from you in front of others, but we still belong to each other in private, right?
Just then, Rosalie walked over and saw how intimately Theodore and Aurora were behaving.
