Chapter 103
“Find her! And find out if Harvey is involved in all of this!” Victoria hissed, her words clear in Rebecca’s ears.
“You!”
Rebecca swallowed hard and turned around. In front of her, Victoria stood with an irritated expression. “Who are you?” she asked, frowning at Rebecca.
Rebecca quickly pulled out the chat gadget from her apron pocket and typed something rapidly, her hands trembling with anger towards Victoria.
“I’m Marianne, the new daily maid replacing the one on maternity leave, Ma’am. I’m Property © of NôvelDrama.Org.
but I can hear perfectly well.” She showed the chat gadget screen to Victoria without looking directly at her, fearing that Victoria might recognize her eyes.
mute,
“Whatever, make me some tea!” Victoria ordered as she flopped down on the sofa.
Rebecca nodded and hurried to the nearest pantry to make peppermint tea with honey on the side for Victoria.
“How do you know she likes peppermint tea?”
Suddenly, Nancy appeared behind her, startling her so much that she nearly dropped the spoon in her hand. She quickly typed on her chat gadget, “She mentioned it before.” Of course, it was a lie.
“Really? She rarely does that,” Nancy muttered, puzzled.
Rebecca quickly picked up the tray and carried it to the table in the living room where Victoria was busy talking on the phone.
“Alicia, you need to find out where that whore is, or all our plans will be in vain! What if Harvey is behind their disappearance? You need to bring Harvey here! I have to make sure he’s still under our control!”
If Rebecca followed her instincts, she would have poured the hot tea over Victoria’s head, but of course, she didn’t. She knelt on the floor, placed the teacup on the table in front of Victoria, and then quickly returned to cleaning the floor in that room. She hoped to stay close to Victoria to gather as much information as possible.
“NANCY!” Victoria shouted. Rebecca looked up in surprise, glancing towards the

hallway where she saw Nancy rushing over to Victoria.
“Yes, Ma’am!” Nancy replied, kneeling before Victoria. Rebecca snorted; she had never liked Nancy, who had always been a hypocritical sycophant.
Victoria leaned in closer to Nancy and whispered something. Rebecca strained to eavesdrop, but she couldn’t hear anything. She only saw Nancy nodding and saying, “Don’t worry, Ma’am, leave it to me.”
Rebecca watched Nancy hurriedly leave the living room and head towards the exit. She wanted to follow her, but her work wasn’t done yet.
Suddenly, she heard footsteps coming from the stairs. She was tempted to look up, but she restrained herself, not wanting to appear suspicious.
“Mom! Mom!”
Rebecca gripped the carpet brush tightly in her hand. It was Mia’s voice.
“Can’t you stop yelling!” Victoria snapped.
“Oh shit! I heard from Alicia, that Becky ran away from Sean Parker. Is that true? Do you think Harvey told her to run away? Or maybe she just wanted to leave, I mean, you know the rumors that Sean is a psychopath who used to beat his ex–wife,” Mia babbled
- on.
Rebecca swallowed hard. She kept her head down, staring at the carpet, brushing it quickly, channeling her emotions.
“Oh, I don’t know! They’re still trying to figure it out! Call your father and make sure he stays in Switzerland for a long time. I don’t care if you have to follow him there, I don’t want him to be here until all set!” Victoria muttered as she sipped her peppermint tea.
Mia sneered. “Can’t we just do something to get Harvey to sign the asset transfer papers
now?”
“If we could do that now, I wouldn’t have to bother locking that crazy person in the basement! You’re so stupid! Come on, come with me!” Victoria stood up and quickly walked towards the front door, with Mia lazily following behind.
Rebecca covered her mouth in shock. “Locking that crazy person in the basement? Is Victoria talking about Harvey’s birth mother?” she murmured silently.

As she finished her work, Rebecca’s mind raced, trying to figure out how to see who Victoria had locked in the mansion’s basement. While she was cating lunch alone in the servants‘ kitchen, Nancy suddenly appeared, sweating as if she had just finished doing something strenuous.
‘Did you have lunch?‘ Rebecca asked through her chat gadget, knowing she had to humble herself before Nancy for the success of her mission.
“Of course not yet! Shit, my clothes are covered in spit! That damn bitch!” Nancy cursed as she took off her apron and angrily threw it on the floor.
Rebecca gripped her spoon tightly. What if her suspicion was correct, and the person locked in the basement was Harvey’s birth mother?
Her mind filled with gruesome images of what might be happening to Harvey’s birth mother, and her hunger vanished. She couldn’t even bring herself to swallow her lunch.
“Marianne!”
Rebecca immediately turned towards Nancy, almost making a sound, but she quickly remembered she was pretending to be mute.
“Go see Margareth and help her clean Mr. Specter’s bedroom, I mean Harvey Specter’s. I’m not in the mood.” Nancy said curtly.
Rebecca nodded, lifted her still–full plate to the sink, and washed it quickly as Nancy watched her without blinking.
‘What did she say? Harvey’s room?‘ Rebecca thought to herself. She didn’t know whether to be happy or sad because returning to that room reminded her of many things that happened during the first three years of her marriage to Harvey.
“I’m busy! You clean it yourself and report to me when you’re done!” Margareth replied when Rebecca told her that Nancy had asked her to clean Harvey Specter’s room.
Rebecca struggled to keep from smiling. She nodded twice and then left Margareth, who was enjoying a cigarette under a large tree that covered the CCTV.
“Hey, mute girl! Do you even know where Mr Specter’s room is?” Margareth yelled with a frown.
Rebecca swallowed hard, fearing her disguise would be uncovered. She shook her head with a grimace.

Margareth scoffed, “Idiot! It’s on the second floor, at the very end! Don’t go into the wrong room, or you’ll know the consequences,” she said, trying to scare Rebecca.
Rebecca nodded and quickly walked towards the main building and up to the second floor. As she walked through every inch of the second floor in that mansion, a suffocating sensation filled her chest, and tears fell from her eyes without her realizing it. She slowly opened Harvey’s bedroom door and was shocked to find a man standing near the window, his back to her.
