Chapter 32- Lost One
Sabrina's POV
Birds chirping in the background. A piano playing softly as I relish in this blissful moment.
He was mine and I was his, officially. Love is a beautiful thing...
How the colors become much more brighter, the sound of nature and animals around, filling my day with more joy as they go about.
When occupied with other things, one fails to notice the little things. Things like the sound of water splashing somewhere and a woodpecker doing the usual and in some weird way, the sounds complimenting each other to a blissful sound.
Yes, I am in love.
If I was in a cartoon show, I'd jump out of bed right now and sing a tune. Something merry, about love and the jittery feeling of being in love. That would wonderfully capture the state I'm in.
Finally complete and in need of nothing more. His breathing mirrored mine and our hearts beating at the same time, both connected so deeply. Aiden, in his perfect form. His bushy eyebrows that complement his facial structure, I mean that jawline just cuts through. He was manly in every sense except for his cute baby like ears that just sort of poke out to be noticed.
You can't even tease him about them because they make him look innocent, what child could ever get in trouble with such beautiful eyes and see-me ears? He was perfect.
He is perfect.
His big manicured hands that held my waist down, pushing himself deeper into my folds. His beautiful lips parted slightly as he feels, for the first time how it feels to be inside a woman, his first time.
His strong legs keeping him up as he rams himself in to me over and over again, the intense build up of his orgasm driving him crazy as he picks up speed. Truth to his word, I became his as he tore through me like an animal.
My tiny frame stood no chance with this giant sculpture of a man.
He loved me the only way a wolf man can, by marking me everywhere. We spent days locked up in this room, just at it.
He stretched my body way past my limits, did things to me- oh his tongue is by far the most gifted. How can a man, with just a pink tongue have me writhing like a mad man being poisoned with insane bliss as it burns through me, creating an unimaginable but yet addicting pleasure that I wanted once more and more.
Aiden, though his first time, gave me a show unforgettable.
After round two, we would just spoon and his hardness would poke in to my back, before he would take charge and fuck me.
Yes, he fucked me.
Did we make love? The only way we know how.
'Sabrina, we need you urgently.' Josey mindlinks me. Ripping me away from my sexual thoughts of Aiden's work.
'Coming.' I say, slowly and quietly getting out of Aiden's hold, quickly slipping on a pair of Jean's and his big ass shirt. This belongs © NôvelDra/ma.Org.
I make my way to the kitchen, where it seems everyone was.
"Finally! We were worried the goddess herself would never come out." Josey says to me and I roll my eyes.
"What's so urgent?" I ask.
"It's Max. He was poisoned too." Anthony answers, face pale from worry.
"Where is he now? How did you find out?" I ask.
"CJ. Anthony went down to check on dearest brother and an ailing Percy was there to deliver a message." Josey tells me.
"An ailing Percy?" I ask and Anthony nods.
"It seems he was poisoned too." Anthony says to me.
"Are they both here?" I ask.
"No. I left them with CJ until I can get word to you. I tried to heal them, but I'm not you so I could only buy them a couple of hours." Anthony says to me. He walks closer to me.
"I wanted to bring them here, I really tried but trying to heal them drained me of almost all energy and that's why I rushed here, to you." Anthony tries to explain.
Grabbing his hand, I squeeze it to reassure him that I am not upset, he did well.
"Evan." I say, Evan getting the signal to get the two men from my brother.
"What is happening? Is it something in the water? Is someone trying to kill werewolves starting with alphas?" I ask.
"What we should be asking is, why are all of them connected to you? All past lovers or mates. That is suspicious." Hunter says and we all agree.
That did not even cross my mind. Somebody was trying to kill my ex mates.
Who could want that on earth? Why would they want to do that?
"Your Serene Highness, I've brought them all here." Evan briskly walking in to alert me.
"Take me to them." I say and I immediately follow him out.
The walk to them could not be any slower, I wanted to run and shift.
I wanted to...oh.
"They are inside." Evan says to me before opening the door for me.
The smell of blood and vomit hit me first before an image of Percy heaving caught my eye. His eyes sunken too deep and his skin too pale, my heart broke.
Max was placed on the opposite side, laying still and seemingly unconscious.
I rush to Percy's aid but Evan grabs my hand to stop me.
"Use your energy for the other one. I'm afraid it is too late to save him." Evan says to me and I look back at Percival, to inspect him.
Indeed, he was too far gone. Saving
Ket
him would not cut it, It would only buy him more time, but dying was inevitable. That was his fate and can't keep preventing it for everyone, even though I strongly believe death is too much to bare for the people he will leave behind, people being me.
Evan hands me a wet cloth, as if reading my mind. I wipe Percy's face of all bloody vomit, the stench too strong but I soldier on.
"I I... he he.. your.. I I tried." Percy tries to talk and I shake my head no.
"Shhhhh.. save your energy. Talking will only cause you more pain." I say, sitting by his bed.
I try to take some of the pain away,
to put him at ease and it rocks me. Percy had been in excruciatingly great pain for some time, this poison was no joke. It wrecked him and right now, I would not blame him if he let go.
Tears fall from my eyes.
S
"Remember when we found out we were mates? It was the happiest day of my life." I say, going down memory lane to the time I was so sure he would be all mine.
"If if... I'd known...you'd be...the moon goddess, I....would've chosen you." Percy joked and I smile.
"I know. It's all about status with you." I joke back. The tears coming out strong now as I feel him fleeting, he was dying now.
"I tried Sab. I really tried to turn it all around. I wanted to show you that I'm a different man, I worked hard." Percy whispers to me.
It was very clear that talking was taking a toll on him but these are words he feels he needs to say.
"I know I messed up. I could not tell
my father no even though I wanted you. I'm a man Sab, I was tempted and I chose to hurt you when I could've saved you from heartache. I just want you to know that I really did love ve you and that I was in pain knowing I'd have to let you go. Losing you, has weakened my wolf. He was never the same and I don't....I don't..." Percy says to me before he starts coughing blood.
"Take it easy.. come on Percy, you don't have to say all of these words, I can feel your heart remember? I know exactly how you feel." I say trying to shush him but to no avail.
"I just... I'm sorry Sabrina. I'm really sorry." He says, as I wipe his face tbe coughing starts up again.
I'm fighting myself not to heal him but I want to so bad, just to make him feel better.
"You can't... Sabrina, don't... trust...." Percy tries to warn me but he starts heaving again and Evan brings him a bucket.
Blood starts rushing out of him, his skin white as the dried paint in the room.
A few seconds pass and his head falls back on my thighs.
I start wiping his face as I brush his hair with my fingers.
"Promise me.." He says groggily, his voice hoarse from the burning of his throat with all the vomiting.
"Don't.. trust anyone." He says to me, his eyes burning through me as he looks at me with sincerity, all the love in his heart pouring through his eyes
and in to my soul.
We stay like this for some time. Evan leaving us without a word.
"It's okay Percy, you have suffered enough. I'm sorry you weren't able to find love, build a family and grow old." I say, my face wet from my tears.
Percy smiles his dazzling, oh so charming smile before nodding his head.
"I love you Sabrina. I don't need another love or family, my heart was and still beats for you and until it stops, it was always for you alone." He says to
me.
My mother standing by the door, probably because she could feel him leaving us too.
"Remember.... don't. Promise me." He begs of me and I nod my head. I can't trust anyone, as confusing as that is I nod my head again and again, putting him at ease before he slips away and I hear not one heart beat.
I freeze.
He was gone.
Percy was gone.☐☐☐☐☐
